reading everyone's comments, i think it's the "i dont care what society normalizes" that throws most people off. there's no problem with women who dreams of becoming a wife and a mother, and women who prefers staying single and just be their own person. the latter is now slowly being accepted by the society, yes, and thankfully at that, but the former is still very much adored (even more so than women who doesnt want a husband nor a child). so i understand why there are people here that reacted the way they did.

the amount of hate in the comsec is so unbelievable. i have no problem supporting women who wants to live child-free but why are we shaming women who still wants the traditional way. maybe she meant it is now normalized for women to build a career first before building a family, she could’ve worded it better, yes. but frankly, we should not shame other women who just wants to be a good wife and a good mother. why are y’all throwing hate on her when she never implied all women should do the same?

yes, this is "the norm" but in today's society.. it's not. It's rare to find people who actually goes or even want to go this path because "live in" and "co-parenting" has been so normalized. It became the "new norm" because of financial reasons. Society is slowly accepting the mindset that marriage is a waste of time and money because it's just a "piece of paper". This is how i see this..
