Flown with JAL from Helsinki and it was very good. Meals and staff were fantastic. Only downside was that the plane was absolutely packed and my baby didn't want to sleep the whole flight to Tokyo😂

Legroom looks decent. I went premium comfort front row on KLM last time, €2200 direct flight from Amsterdam. Oof that HURT the wallet but I just can’t deal with the claustrophobia hell of economy on a 13 hour flight 😭

I know it's a bit of a personal question but I wonder what prefecture you stay? you don't have to answer if it makes you feel uncomfortable but I just wonder cause I find the different prefectures interesting for their uniqueness

I got back from Japan 3 weeks ago and I'm still envious of seeing others there. I flew with JAL as well but had to buy a flexible ticket as all the other economy tickets had been sold as I could only buy my ticket 2 months before departure. 2 and a half grand for me 😭 but still worth it for JAL's onboard and airport quality and I was getting a second flight to Kumamoto and back so 4 flights in all. My only gripe is that they've outsourced their customer service department to somewhere much cheaper who doesn't treat people with brain tumours like we have a disability which, ironically, gave me a headache! Sadly I've found the same with All Nippon Airways so next year I might try BA to see if they can beat that standard (not likely)
