@faceless_jane97: Maybe you've already started thinking about Monday. The things you need to get done. The decisions you haven't made. The responsibilities waiting for you. The questions you still don't have answers to. And somehow, even on a day meant for rest, your mind is already working on tomorrow. I know that feeling. But here's something I'm reminding myself of today: God never asked me to have tomorrow figured out before I could be faithful today. Matthew 6:34 reminds us not to be consumed with worry about tomorrow. Not because tomorrow doesn't matter. But because we were never meant to carry every future concern all at once. There will always be something else to plan. Another problem to solve. Another decision to make. Another thing we wish we understood better. But today? Today, we can slow down. We can pray. We can be present with the people we love. We can trust God with the things we don't yet know. And we can remember that our worth was never measured by how much we accomplished this week. If your mind is already racing toward everything waiting for you tomorrow, maybe this is your reminder: You don't have to figure out tomorrow today. Give yourself permission to rest.
