My husbands last name isn’t even his families last name so I didn’t change mine but we have a daughter now so we decided we just should make up our own family last name ! So cool to see another person do this 😂! Now hard part is finding a cool last name

my mum took my dad's last name in 1996 and then in 2013 something happened and we (mum,dad,me and my siblings) sat and choose to change are last name completely different to either side of them families

As someone who had a hyphenated last name for 10 years… don’t. It was part of me but with insurance and adult world stuff it sucked. Pick something you all like!! I lucked out in liking my husbands last name!

same my husband and i got married at 18, and i never took his last name. i love his last name, but i do NOT want to go through the hassle of changing every single one of my records/documents/ids/medical info/social media/subscription accounts to the new name. just not doin all of that !

This happened in my family my grandfather changed his last name before he met my grandma and she took his it would’ve been polish and hard to spell and pronounce😭
