Lana Brewer :
Before judging me, put yourself in my shoes. You don't know my financial situation, my health struggles, or what I've been through.
This was my first family outing in a LONG time. I had surgery in July, have been on medication, and was finally feeling well enough to enjoy a night with my family.
SeaWorld refused my purse even though it met their size requirements. Had my wallet been safely inside my purse, none of this would have happened!
YES, I knew SeaWorld was cashless! That $200 was saved for another time.
It was dark, foggy, and chaotic. Employees were rude, and when I asked security for help, he simply said, “That sucks,” and walked away.
I take responsibility for accidentally leaving my wallet behind. But making a mistake doesn't mean I deserved to be treated without compassion.
We spent hundreds of dollars and left after less than two hours.
Before you judge someone, remember you don't know their circumstances. I just wanted one good night with my family. Was that too much to ask? How would you feel in this situation. Imagine employees treating you horrible when you spent so much money to provide a great experience for your family.
