Since my 3 tier surgery L-3 thru S-1, 2 different surgeries within a day of each other, my legs dont work like they are supposed to. My nerves basically died in my legs and I had to use a walker to get around. I had a spinal cord stimulator put in, I have many electrodes touching my spinal cord. Thank goodness I can walk without a walker.....however; the disk degeneration is accelerated now. It wont get any better the older I get.

I have. Middle back injury and upper neck injury, L4 and L4 discs are fused together. I was in a body cast for 36 months. All you have described is happen to me, when I jogging. I get a callus on my left toe and my shoe has a hole in it bc of my toe.

I’m having my second surgery on L5-S1 in just over a year November 4th. I’ve lost feeling on the inside of my right foot, in fact it’s gotten worse since the surgery. But I have horrible pain that has gotten worse in my back and SI joint since about February and yes the inside of shoe is heavily worn out.

My feet feel as if there are pins and needles in them, and my thighs are weak. I drag my feet and can only walk short distances; my back forces me to stop, and then I have to hold onto a shopping trolley or something similar.
