DAY 2 OF 90: COUNTDOWN TO DOOM. 90 days of going to the gym every single day, all leading to Avengers: Doomsday. And I’ve already started thinking about something that sounds so small, but would genuinely mean a lot to me. When I finally sit down to watch Avengers: Doomsday, I might actually feel comfortable in a cinema seat for the first time in my life. Considering how much of my life I spend inside cinemas, that’s a pretty exciting thought. Today was CHEST & TRICEPS, although there was one slight problem… my right elbow is absolutely finished after playing Topgolf for my brother’s birthday. So some of these exercises were STRUGGLES. Then I nearly dropped a dumbbell onto my chest because I had nobody spotting me. 😭 Which brings me to something I genuinely wasn’t expecting from this challenge. The response to Day 1 has been overwhelming. I’ve had comments, DMs, fitness coaches, experienced gym-goers and complete strangers offering advice or literally offering to come and train with me. So I’ve decided something. I want Countdown to Doom to become a community challenge. Over these next 88 days, I want to try training with as many of you as possible. Different people. Different workouts. Different advice. Different stories. If you want to come train with me during Countdown to Doom, DM me. I genuinely want to meet some of the people following this journey and learn from you. Every comment. Every message. Every person offering advice. I’m seeing it all and I appreciate you more than you know. We’ve got 88 days left until Avengers: Doomsday. 88 more times I have to walk through those gym doors. And when those lights finally go down in the cinema for Doomsday, I want to know I’m sitting there as a different version of myself than the guy who started this. DAY 2/90 COMPLETE. See you tomorrow.
