@cbspittsburgh: ACT 57: Pennsylvania's new law, Act 57, goes into effect on Monday and establishes a mandatory state registry for all electronic nicotine delivery systems, which will make the sale of any unlisted product illegal. As more and more vape shops open, it could lead to closures across the Commonwealth.
If it was really about underage it would have just been a mandatory ID check, much like the state does for alcohol sales. This is one hundred percent about lobbying from large tobacco companies.

whipped cream vodka, cinnamon toast crunch liquor, peanut butter cup whiskey, cookie flavored liquor, drinking card games, drinking board games, shirts with slogans about drinking, pong, ect ALL still legal and apparently not marketing to children 🙄

If it was about the kids , you would ban the cigarettes that have been around forever and how do you think we started smoking. They will never do that because the billionaires have all their money in the tobacco industry , so why would we ruin it for them.

If that's a issue why they don't just get rid of cigarettes nothing makes sense if they're gonna get rid of vapes. Kids going to smoke cigarettes so it makes no sense

prohibition taught us people will get things no matter what. if they want to protect kids how about they pass gun laws or online laws that prevent csam distribution. so many other things our children need protecting from

So is the same thing gonna happen to alcohol and guns which are literally seen in just about every action movie out there? The worst part is is that you can’t complain about it because since they’re using the excuses for the children, if you complain, then everyone’s gonna say oh you want kids to die.

I can understand it, but it’s no different than cigarettes or alcohol, ID everyone, and sell only to those 21+

Yeah no this is happening because government is losing money from investing in tobacco products. They lose billions of dollars every year because more people are stepping away from cigarettes and buying vapes. So their only solution is to ban vapes so they can make their money
