Four years ago, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. 🤍 What should have been one of the happiest moments of my life quickly became a fight for survival. I went from welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world to fighting septic shock, organ failure, and ultimately losing all four of my limbs. Four years. Four years of healing, grieving, learning, growing, and finding myself all over again. There were moments I questioned everything. Moments I didn’t recognize myself. Moments I wondered how I would ever get back to being the wife, mama, and woman I once was. But through every tear, every setback, and every small victory, God was there. And so were the people who loved me through it all. Today, I look at my life and see so much more than what I’ve lost. I see a husband who never stopped standing beside me, two beautiful babies I get to watch grow, memories I almost didn’t get to make, and a future I once wasn’t sure I’d have. I wouldn’t wish this journey on anyone, but I am so incredibly proud of the woman I’ve become because of it. Four years later, I’m still learning. Still healing. Still finding joy in the little things. And most importantly, still here. I may have lost my limbs, but I never lost my purpose. I am, and always will be, STILL WHOLE. 🦋🤍 Here’s to four years of fighting, surviving, and learning to truly live again. God’s not finished with my story yet. 🥹 #septicshocksurvivor #sepsis #QuadrupleAmputee #SepsisSurvivor #survivor
