This one is for the late-diagnosed, overwhelmed ADHD mommas who never have enough hours in the day and feel like they’re drowning. 🤍 I have inattentive ADHD along with bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. Some days, so many things need my attention that I don’t even know where to start. And last night, my five-year-old really humbled me. She needed me to get something for her, but she knew I was trying to finish a task. Instead of getting frustrated, she just kept repeating two key words. Finally, I asked, “What are you doing?” She said, “Those are the two things I need you to get, Mom.” And I just thought… wow. She could see I was struggling with so many things needing my attention, and in her own little way, she made it simpler for me. She met me right where I was. No frustration. No big explanation. Just a little reminder while she waited for me to catch up. It reminded me of how God meets us where we are. In the overwhelm. In the unfinished tasks. In the moments when we feel like we’re falling short. His grace and mercy aren’t things we have to earn by having it all together. Sometimes, that reminder comes through the smallest voice in the room. 🥹 So if you feel like you’re drowning today, please remember: you are more than what you managed to get done. You can love your babies with everything in you and still feel overwhelmed. You deserve patience and grace, too. We’ve got this. We’re here. And we’re worth it. Even on the days when “we’ve got this” means asking someone to help us carry it. If you’re struggling, please reach out. My messages are always open, and I will answer as soon as I can. And check on someone today. Sometimes, the people who seem like they have it all together are the ones quietly falling apart. You don’t have to have the perfect words. Sometimes, “I’m here” is enough to start. 🤍 🌦️ After the Raine Fueled by faith and five minutes of quiet #MentalHealth #adhdinwomen #momtok #yahweh #godsplan
