@hannahbevington: Just before you scroll and skip past now you have seen the word “pension” and you assume you’re years off it m, so why take an interest in it now?? Well the decisions you make today, will massively impact your future one day (and when I say future, I mean your retirement). So whilst yes, seeing that £200 or £300 leave your payslip each month is hard, it’s important to remember WHY you’re doing that. So that one day you can retire and afford to look after your family and give yourself all the gorgeous things you deserve because the alternative is, well, either working until death or maybe just MAYBE if we’re lucky enough the state pension might be around (not that it’s all that much to live off).
