Ok. It all goes back to Him tho. And maybe you don’t understand why. But every good thing comes from Him. So the assertion that good happens outside of God misses the mark entirely because all your” good “ you muster .. is really just the absence of bad. We started out good. It’s like how nothing actually gets cold, you just have less and less heat. But hey, thanks for being on the team.

If I may, I'd like to paraphrase someone. good can be used in the context that an action is good or moral if it promotes general health, or minimizes suffering or it does both. an action is immoral or bad if it promotes general harm or maximizes suffering or does both. now for those who think that those terms are for debate then I'd counter with something like this. Building a hospital promotes general health and minimizes suffering( in most cases) that is an objective good i think we all can agree on. if you disagree then let's talk about it.

i am not religious but buddhism is an example that you can have better morals without a god. it still has heaven and hell concept though.
