Wow just use two tie straps one at the top and one an inch from the top one. Now he has to get some wood filler for the holes from the nails. Waste of time me looking at

It didn't need the cable anchors or the new holes in the top. The one zip tie was sufficient for the cheap, shitty dowel repair. Which is easily replaceable.

It didn’t need the little things he nailed on top. All it needed was one zip tie because the glue was gonna bond it together anyway the things on top that he nailed in is unnecessary.
