@julianthorne.us: Donna Kelce is defending her son Travis after old social media posts allegedly linked to his account resurfaced online, prompting renewed criticism. On October 17, Donna responded to a fan on X, firmly stating that the posts did not come from her son’s real account. “Not Travis’ handle and not his account!!” she wrote. The now-deleted messages were reportedly posted between 2009 and 2011 under the username “tkelce.” They included alleged remarks criticizing women’s weight and appearance, comments about cheerleaders, and other offensive language. The New York Times previously reported in 2023 that the tweets had been independently verified by fact-checking website Snopes. However, Donna disputed that the account belonged to Travis. Travis’s representatives had been contacted for comment, but the article did not report a response from him. The renewed attention comes after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reportedly liked a clip from comedian Shane Gillis’ recent Saturday Night Live monologue, which drew criticism for jokes about women’s gym clothing. Among those criticizing Gillis was actor Dan Levy, who argued that women should not be insulted for wearing short workout clothes. Travis has not publicly responded to the criticism surrounding his reported social media activity. Donna’s denial has added another layer to the controversy, as questions remain about the old account and the posts being attributed to her son. \#TravisKelce #DonnaKelce #NFLNews #CelebrityNews #socialmediacontroversy
