The whole point of having a partner/significant other is to be able to depend on each other when times get rough. Unfortunately your mom won't be there forever.. From the answers you gave al you did was complain about what he does/would do and belittled him you can tell by the look on his face it hurt him a little. If you can't build a strong foundation as a team, you don't need to add on. So please don't have kids together or even think about it until either a you figure out why you can't depend on him in those moments or let him be so he can find someone who will put him first.
