I feel like I’m getting ripped off. I was promised snakes that swallow grown men, crocodiles lurking in every puddle, and bugs big enough to carry me away while I’m still holding my drink. Where are the hippos casually chomping people in half? The chimpanzees with criminal records and absolutely nothing to lose? The silverbacks built like King Kong on a prison workout program? I haven’t seen any of it. At this point, the most dangerous thing I’ve encountered is false advertising.

I thought this is why we brought inflatable kayaks?? So we can deflate and hike around the hippos?? I’ve never heard of “not dangerous hippos”.
