This is a demonstration of the industrial steps used on conventional oranges sold in the United States. This video is for entertainment and educational purposes only- do not replicate these steps at home. This video does not claim that eating oranges will directly harm you. It's meant to shed light on how much processing goes into a "fresh" orange before it hits the shelf. This isn't about any specific brand or grower- it's a composite of common industry practices- antibiotics, synthetic growth regulators, fungicides and petroleum-based waxes, some of which are even banned in Europe. This video is describing the general process in a way that can be done on a small scale at home, BUT is not mirroring the exact process- it's optimized to make a watchable video- for example, growers use dedicated trunk injectors, not IV bags, and packinghouses run thousands of boxes an hour through automated lines… things that are not shown in the video. The fungicides are mixed right into the wax btw, so they sit on the peel ‼️ "Within legal limits" might mean it's not gonna drop you on the spot, but doesn't mean it's optimal for you in my opinion. At the end of the day, eat what you want- but be informed about what you're actually eating- and maybe don’t zest your non-organic orange.

من قلب الفجيرة، بدأت الفكرة بشكل بسيط بعد ما نشرت فيديو وأنا ماسك زهور شجرة الشعلة، تواصلت معي إحدى الأخوات من محل ذهب، وطلبت تشتري 4 بوكيهات عشان تزين محلهم من الداخل كمشاركة في مبادرة الشيخ حمدان لزراعة شجرة الشعلة وطبعاً ما خلتها تمر بدون مزاح، قلت لها: أوكي بس بشرط تعطيني طقم ذهب بصراحة من خبرتي، أول ما نقطف الزهرة تذبل خلال ساعات فقلت خليني أجرب قبل لا أعطي شيء ممكن ما يعيش واليوم بدأت التجربة جهزت البوكيهات وحطيتها في فازات ماء، وفي مكان بارد ومظلل ولاحظت بعد شيء جميل… الزهور تعطي لون طبيعي ممكن يستخدم كصبغة بنشارككم النتيجة خطوة بخطوة السؤال لكم: هل تتوقعون زهور الشعلة تتحمل؟ وهل في طرق أو تقنيات تخليها تعيش فترة أطول؟ إذا نجحت التجربة، ممكن نشوف فكرة جديدة وجميلة لتزيين البيوت والمكاتب بهذه الزهرة المميزة From the heart of Fujairah, the idea started very simply After I posted a video holding flame tree flowers, one lady from a jewelry shop contacted me and asked to buy 4 bouquets to decorate their shop indoors Of course, I joked with her and said: deal… but only if you give me a gold set From my experience, once these flowers are picked, they wilt within hours So I decided to test it first before giving something that may not last Today, I started the experiment Prepared the bouquets, placed them in water vases, in a cool shaded area And noticed something interesting… the flowers release a natural color that could be used as a dye I will share the results step by step What do you think?
