@janiceaponte13: You've recognized the habits that are contributing to your overwhelm. You know you're taking on too much. You know you're putting your own needs aside. You know something has to change. So why do you keep doing the same things? Because sometimes those behaviors serve a purpose you haven't fully recognized. Maybe saying yes helps you avoid feeling guilty. Maybe solving someone else's problem is easier than watching them struggle. Maybe you're worried that if you don't handle something, it won't get done. And sometimes, you've been doing these things for so long that you don't even realize you're making a choice. Here's where you start. The next time you catch yourself automatically agreeing to something, stop and ask: "What am I trying to avoid by saying yes?" Then consider what would actually happen if you said no. Would someone be disappointed? Would something go unfinished? Would you feel uncomfortable? And if so, is that something you can allow to happen? You don't have to change everything at once. But you do need to start recognizing the moments when you have an opportunity to respond differently. The goal isn't to eliminate every uncomfortable feeling. It's to stop letting those feelings make every decision for you. I'm curious: What's harder for you, recognizing what needs to change or actually doing something differently? #BurnoutRecovery #BehaviorChange #HealthyBoundaries #BreakingTheCycle #OvercomingOverwhelm
