I remember my first job ever, I was working as a cook at a pizza place. A guy came in and asked if a pizza for "John" was ready. I looked at all my tickets, and no, there was no pizza for John. He smiled at me, but had completely dead eyes, and he said "That b*tch forgot to put the order in." He left, and then a couple of seconds later, I got a pizza order for John. She came in 30 minutes later to pick up the pizza, with a red mark on her face and tears streaming down her cheeks.

I work at Wendy’s and I have actually followed a woman into the bathroom and begged her to let me help her get away from him. One of our regulars she has brusises often. Well 2 months go by and they stop coming in every Tuesday and Friday. I felt it in my gut, but yeah. He killed her.

I had a regular once at the thrift store I worked at who had “accidentally” shot his wife in the stomach. I looked at her n said “and you stayed???!” With a look of horror in my eyes😭 He was known for making her push him around the store in a wheelchair even tho he could very much walk on his own.. I remember him trying to boss me around during my shifts, I would not listen to him and he’d give me a look of pure anger and I’d just smile back at him lmfao

I literally had to secretly call the police while working as a waitress because this woman came in with her husband covered in bruises and he wouldn’t let her speak AT ALL and I told my boss and he said either I get the cops here or he’ll be putting his body in the deep freezer before they finish their meal…I will say that the man did in-fact leave in handcuffs

I (woman) worked in DV services for a while and would occasionally do the escort service (when a worker accompanies the abused woman to her house to get important documents/etc), so I've seen my fair share of these men. Had my nose broken 2x, have a scar on my jawline from when a grown ahh man bit me (wtf dude 🥴) & have a couple of other incidents I can't rly talk about bc I don't want to go to ✨ jail✨. I can aaaaalwaaayysss tell when there's a wifebeater in the family. They're not as slick as they think they are.

Omg at Target, there was a little girl who kept putting her hands on the conveyor belt. It was literally fine, (her hand would move along the belt but she wasn’t blocking me or putting her hand in a dangerous place). Her dad literally HITS HER, and YELLS at her for putting her hand there, and the mom just stood there. I jumped cause it scared me and I legit started tearing up because I felt so bad her. The girl was silently crying so you can tell it happens enough where she’s learned to cry in silence and it hurt me so much that a father can do that to his daughter. Everytime I think about it, it upsets me omg…
