Everyone missing your point. Victorias Secret isn’t unattainable, being a model is. Modelling (especially on runway) was originally so impressive and unique, you needed to be literally perfect, but now it’s just a job. It’s boring and genuinely just not a pleasing sight anymore, it’s an average one

The way this is phrased is so unnecessary. You can appreciate Bella Hadid’s beauty without implying other women aren’t beautiful enough to be there. The show can be aspirational AND inclusive. Why should the fantasy only be reserved for one body type? We can celebrate supermodels without putting other women down. The whole point of the fashion show was to showcase products, build a brand and get people interested in buying them, not to establish that only one body type is beautiful.

There is a video on how the changes in the sizes we show in runway and in advertising has allowed our clothing to because poorly made and not good quality anymore because we normalised seeing the belly and rolls and everything we used to tuck so now clothing doesn’t have any structure anymore and nothing has that new clothing feeling anymore. And we did this is the name of inclusivity not realising how far we lowered the bar for clothing companies by doing that.
