it's kind of obvious that the sulfur cubes weren't entities, there's on average 35k blocks per chunk, or 35840000 sulfur cubes needed to be rendered on 32x32 chunk render distance (16 chunks on settings). Even if you had 200GB RAM or even a NASA 2 Petabyte supercomputer there's just not enough clock speed to run the game at 1 FPS

What if you remove the outline and then when you interact with a block, it becomes a sulfur cube but invisible
