As someone who installs heated seats and leather on cars and has taken apart an N seat. The heated seats pads probably add about 2 lbs at most. They are very light and have a very small computer module controlling them

Heated seats are quite literally a thin membrane that sticks to the foam in the seat and a plug attached to it….are people really complaining about weight gains?😭

For me it makes no sense to add a heating option for cloth/alcentara seats. Its only valid for cars with leather seats cause leather gets very cold easily in the winter. If anything the type R needs only cooled/ventilated seats because of the the cloth/alcentara fabric they use

I’ve only seen people say bad things about the new heated seats. But I don’t think it’s the worse thing to throw into the 2027.
