@taratripoliarts: 🐌🪶 INKTOBER DAY 18: FLIGHTLESS! 🐞 Who says a snail can't dream of flying? 😂 Today, our adventurous little snail has decided that a few oversized feathers might just be the answer! Meanwhile, his ladybug companion seems to have no trouble getting airborne. 🐞 I'm having so much fun leaning into the storytelling side of Inktober this year. It's becoming less about simply drawing the prompt and more about finding new adventures for these two little friends. ✒️ For today's drawing, I'm using my Tom's Studio Lumos Pro Duo with Platinum Carbon Black ink in my handmade sketchbook featuring 100% cotton Saunders Waterford watercolor paper. I'm really loving the crosshatching and the freedom this pen gives me! 🎨 AND WE'RE TAKING THIS ADVENTURE EVEN FURTHER! We're going to bring this duo into an urban scene during our YouTube livestream! We'll ink the scene together, add a charming town backdrop, and then bring everything to life with watercolor. I love the idea of combining whimsical storytelling with urban sketching. Two things I've been having so much fun exploring! 💬 What do you think? Will those feathers ever get our snail off the ground? 😂 Come join me LIVE on YouTube! I'd love to paint alongside you! #Inktober2026 #InktoberDay18 #PenAndInk #WatercolorSketchbook #UrbanSketching
