@kara_marlene: 🚨🇨🇦 BREAKING: DEADLY DISASTER AT CANADIAN MILITARY BASE — AT LEAST 7 REPORTED DEAD A catastrophic incident at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta has left multiple people dead and injured. Saturday afternoon, October 17, a major fire broke out inside the military training area. 🔥 Reports describe an explosion. 🔥 Strong winds caused the fire to spread rapidly beyond the base. 🚑 Multiple Alberta hospitals activated CODE ORANGE mass-casualty emergency protocols. 💔 At least seven fatalities have been reported by news organizations, although Canadian officials have not yet confirmed the official death toll. One Edmonton emergency physician described the scale of this incident as a disaster medical teams might experience only once every 15–25 years. Canadian authorities have confirmed fatalities and injuries, and investigators are working to establish the cause. WHAT HAPPENED DURING THAT MILITARY TRAINING EXERCISE? That remains one of the biggest unanswered questions. Prayers and condolences to the victims, their loved ones, and the emergency personnel responding to this tragedy. I’ll continue following verified developments. #BreakingNews #Canada #Alberta #Wainwright #CFBWainwright

They are saying a bullet hit a gas line during a live fire training exercise. This is hard to believe unless they already had a leak
