I will repeat what I say to most people struggling with physics: the single best piece of advice I can give you is write down every variable a problem gives you as the variable you have defined (ie. m=5kg where m is your chosen variable for mass) then write the variable you need to find. then, look at what formulas you can use with your given information to find the variable you are searching for. that instantly makes everything 10× easier. As for studying, write down any questions you have about the world and physics even if it isn't related at all to your class and when you get home find the answer either using what you know or by researching it. that sounds pointless but it really does improve your ability to think through and understand every single thing going on. And no-dont listen to the people saying to just use a formula sheet and plug away. That might work for basic mechanics, but as soon as you get to anything beyond that you will be screwed. You need to understand what is happening most of the time to succeed. And no, I'm not contradicting myself either. When I say write down your variables to find a formula, I just mean to point you in the right direction. What I said about understanding remains true.
