He missed a 36 yard field goal. He missed an extra point. Cleveland lost 17 to 16. A lot of people wanted him cut. Kevin Stefanski kept him. Two weeks later, against Green Bay, he lined up from 55 yards with the clock at zero. It went through. Cleveland won that one 13 to 10. Longest walk off field goal in Browns history. In the locker room Stefanski handed him the game ball.
