We had one mass school shooting in Scotland 30 plus years ago and from that day guns we’re baned in the county and from then on their have been not a single shooting since ! It had to change in America for your kids 😭😭😭

Im so sorry for your pain and trauma. I cried listening to your account of what happened, and nearly turned the volume down so that my daughter didn’t hear. But at 15, she too was listening with sadness and I decided that if your little boy had to go through what he did, we can listen and for a moment share in your pain. She was particularly despaired hearing of your son knowing he was safe when he heard the police say shooter down, to have that kind of understanding of the gravity of the situation at his delicate age 😔 please know that even though we’re in England and don’t live with the same fears that you guys do, our hearts are with you and hurting with you, and we are keeping you in thought and prayer.

For starters they need to put privacy slats on the chain link fence around the playgrounds. It shouldn’t be scalable. It’s really extraordinarily lucky that kid didn’t walk up when the kids were at recess. That needs to be fixed immediately and it’s not even costly to do so.
