Deniz is literally a child who’s unaware of what’s happening, and that’s why it looks like he’s always choosing the Alboras over his own mother. He went from being alone with his mother to being surrounded by a whole family who loves and cares for him. By that i’m in no way implying that Alya didn’t love and care for him, but we just have to look at things from a child’s perspective. Imagine you suddenly found yourself a whole family, so many people who are willing to be there for you and spend time with you. If you were a child you wouldn’t want to go back to living only with your mother either and it’s not cause you don’t love your mother, you’d just rather be surrounded by so many people than to feel lonely. Also, may I add, Alya has not once sat Deniz down and told him the truth about the kind of people that the Alboras are. She’s never explicitly told him that they are trying to divide them, or that they are threatening her. She always kept it VERY mature and has never spoken a bad word about them. Not even about Sadakat and not even about Boran, even tho she had every right to!!! So to me it only makes sense that Deniz would rather stay at the mansion and doesn’t despise the Alboras. On the other side, Ege’s story is way different. She was forcefully taken away from the person she considered her own mother and was very well aware of that, hence why she despises her father’s side of the family.
