@cbsnews: A group of American researchers believes it could be just days away from solving the mystery of Amelia Earhart's disappearance after nearly 90 years. The team is searching for the legendary aviator's missing plane off a remote island in the South Pacific. The expedition, led by Steve Schultz from Purdue University and Richard Pettigrew from the Archaeological Legacy Institute, began searching Wednesday for what researchers believe could be Earhart's Lockheed Electra 10-E plane. Stormy weather hindered their efforts on Wednesday, but expedition members said they expect to have a definitive answer on the object in the coming days.
