That is a personal choice and more power to you. I’ve been married. I have kids and grandkids. But I have my peace and quiet now and I’m not gonna let anybody disturb it.. I do what I want when I want and I answer to no one. Congrats on your choice. As long as you are happy that’s all that matters.

Not everyone needs a spouse and children. Look at the people in prison for murdering a spouse and child. It’s okay to realize that and accept you don’t want that life. I’d rather people be alone than to hurt someone. And I’m now divorced and while at times lonely, I finally have peace and no arguing or trying to force someone to care when they clearly didn’t want to. Marriage isn’t always it. And I love my son more than life but being a parent is the hardest thing I’ll ever do. While I was meant to be a mom, maybe someone are meant to be single. And again, that’s ok.
