mine winies more than she (speaks) barks. If she's all in her feel feels she'll bark and howl. Mostly just quiet judgmental stares though.

Very different breeds! Beagles are very needy in my experience. Beagles whine a lot as well. I have had both and I will take a basset over a beagle any day.

As someone who owned beagles their entire life and thought how much different can they be? So much different. And worse. My basset is 11000000x louder than any beagle I’ve ever owned 😭
