It’s actually a perfect comparison because one piece is a burger show (I think)

Just say that Demon Slayer outsold One Piece in 2019, 2020, and 2021 (even a year after the manga ended), and that in 2020 it sold 82 million copies (the highest number a manga has sold in a single year so far). If sales really mattered that much, then DS > OP 😭

Except, op isn’t just the highest sold. It’s the highest rated as well, the McDonald’s argument doesn’t apply since McDonald’s isn’t highly rated. Nor is solo leveling. People who haven’t read it do not get an opinion on the story.

But the Manga doesnt make a difference in terms of writing… it just fixes pacing thats it. I already said Steins;Gate but if u need another example then Land of the Lustrous is another. Similarly just better in almost every way possible except for world building…

Carson Crayola :
The reason it’s good because it sells the most because it has consistently sold the most since the 2000s where as solo leveling has less competition and has been out for less time

dr.ututt :
one piece is good because of its long term storytelling, foreshadowing, lore, plot, buildup, themes, parallels, mysteries, worldbuilding, and also the back stories, emotions, fights, the animation starting from wano, consistency and longevity, some of if not the best peaks in anime, all this make one piece that good and i probably forgot to mention something

nobody :
you forgot something in the argument... which is how consistent it is in being relevant around the world. we see it in clothes, sports, events toys heck even in uprisings. So are you really being fair?.

boskovik :
All lies Solo leveling has around 650 milion views online and we cant compare that to op bc no one counts the views online properly and op has over 600 mil copies sold the most in manga manhua manhwa and comig boosk solo leveling has a lot of copies sold but its like 100 by official sources on google then tower of god google states oficial soruces around 100 mil views online and 20 mil sold copies so one piece still clears
