So from a strictly lay person science fiction point of view, could we say there are two dimensions overlapping yet somehow the dark dimension affects the gravity of the light dimension

We don’t see it or feel it. It doesn’t interact with anything and somehow it gives galaxies its missing mass. It doesn’t make sense. There’s something fundamentally wrong with our theory of gravity itself.

How would dark matter interact before electroweak symmetry breaking? (Assuming dark matter **is** WIMPs and not something else of course). Would it “do more” whatever that may be?? Additional interactions? Admittedly I don’t know how matter behaves differently before and after symmetry breaking lol
