The way I hate the whole house smelling food, I can't accept an open kitchen. Food should be brought to the table when we want to eat. I can only accept cabinets to keep plates and cutlery but not anything for cooking.

Even.me I refused open Kitchen. I don't want visitors to see me while cooking. Some people watch TV and forget the cooking

The open kitchen concept serves a category of people. It is good for single people, small families, and those in rented spaces for temporary living. It shouldn’t be the overall kitchen design for busy households and big families. Actually big families eventually abandons them and construct a separate traditional kitchen outside with option for even using firewood 😂

To be honest, I would prefer a closed kitchen because I value my wife’s privacy, and it also helps contain cooking smells and noise, keeps the living room clean and organized, and provides a more comfortable and private cooking environment.
