🫙 PANTRY ORGANIZATION | HOW I STOCK & ROTATE MY HOME-CANNED FOODS 🌿 Hello, sweet friends! 💚 Today I’m taking you into my pantry to share how I organize, stock, and maintain my home-canned foods so everything stays in order and my most-used pantry staples are always waiting for me! 🫙 🌿 How I Stock My Shelves: I start at the top of each rack, filling the shelf from one end to the other before moving down to the next shelf. I continue this process until each shelf is filled, keeping my jars organized by the year they were canned. This makes it easy to keep track of my inventory and use my oldest jars first! 🫙 Keeping a Backup Supply: One thing I like to do with my most-used pantry staples is can another batch before my current supply runs out. I don’t necessarily do this with everything, but I do this for commonly used home canned items, I love knowing I already have more waiting! 🌶️ My Chili Con Carne: At the top of my rack, I have just four jars remaining from a batch I canned in 2022. But further down, I already have 35 jars of chili con carne that I canned in 2025! That means I had my next batch ready nearly a year before I needed it! With those 35 jars waiting, I anticipate having enough chili con carne for approximately another four years, so I likely won’t need to can another batch for quite some time! 🥩 My Chuck Roast: I organize my home-canned chuck roast the same way as this is a commonly used item, here you see jars from 2024 along with my newer batches from 2026. 🌱 Why I Love This System: For me, pantry organization isn’t just about keeping things neat. It’s about planning ahead, maintaining a well-stocked pantry, and knowing what I have available before I need it. I love being able to reach for the oldest jars while knowing I’ve already prepared another batch of our favorite staples. It takes the pressure off having to replenish everything at the last minute! 🫙 How do you organize your home-canned pantry? Do you keep backup batches of your favorite staples, too? 🌿 Save for later and follow along for more home canning, pantry organization, and food preservation inspiration! #canning #canningandpreserving #homecanning #pantryrestock #pantryorganization
