Back in my 20s these houses were so far away from the beach, but as the years have come by the beach erosion is just tearing everything up back in the early 90s, these houses were immaculate and so far away from the ocean now it’s just years and years a beach erosion

So do you just call the insurance company ahead of time?And just warn them, or do you just wait or what. what the hell is wrong with builders who tell people that their house will be just fine. somebody should be responsible for this. And all the pollution and chemical waste, it's going to be created from this. no houses should ever be put there ever again. It's so simple.

it’s a barrier island that constantly changes. People took a gamble and are losing the battle with Mother Nature. its almost as if barrier island should not used for building homes on.

I can’t believe how quickly that yellow house part of the beach. Less than a year ago, it seems like there were dunes in front of it, and the sand was very high underneath. It was not on on the beach at all.

It’s sad, so many happy memories that probably happened in these homes… but also, if you build a home that close to the ocean… it’s bound to happen.
