When I was diagnosed with type one 36 years ago they said there would be a cure within 10 years tops. I really do hope this is true and is readily available for all type ones. I’m tired.

This is exactly WHY we have a petition for the UK Gov to fund more t1d research! Research like Sana Biotechnology’s is showing real potential. We don't know yet if or when this could lead to a cure, but there is genuine reason to hope. Imagine what could be achieved with greater funding, more trials and the UK actively investing in this research! My T1D son is ten years old I would like to see a cure before he's 40!
