@explorewithkristiana: What an incredible experience to watch 2 male bears in such close proximity!!! When the salmon runs are good, so are the bears 🥹. We’ve seen these 2 adult males PLAYING multiple times this fall, which is so rare and magical to see. The fish are so abundant that their tolerance for other bears is much higher, and their stress levels are much lower. It also makes me think of how our negative impact on our salmon has affected bears so much over the last 50-100 years. I’m so greatful to observe a salmon run like this where the bears are ALL fed and happy. #britishcolumbia #salmon #grizzlybear #greatbearrainforest #bearviewingbc
