@chloethorpaws: They were heading to Savannah for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Then a family needed them. ❤️ On March 15, 2024, University of Georgia students Molly McCollum, Jane McArdle, Eleanor Cart, Clarke Jones and Kaitlyn Iannace stopped after seeing a vehicle plunge into a creek in Burke County, Georgia. They called 911 and helped rescue Cori Craft and her two sons. Her youngest, just four, was pulled from the water unresponsive. Jones drew on her lifeguard training and performed CPR. When the boy responded, the overwhelming relief brought the group to tears. The women were later recognized for their bravery and made honorary deputies. An ordinary weekend trip became the moment five students helped a family stay together. ❤️ #UniversityOfGeorgia #GeorgiaHeroes #WaterRescue #CPRSavesLives #EverydayHeroes
