I’m still so upset my husband chose not to do skin to skin with our daughter. He was very self conscious cuz he was kinda bigger. I wish he would have. It would have been such a sweet moment to share with our girl now that he’s passed on🥲

due with our son in december. when we had our daughter he "stepped out to the car to grab something and call his dad" but he later told me it was because he didnt want me to see him cry because he thought I needed him to be strong 🥲

I had csections with both of mine and they were early. my husband was the first person to meet them cause the NICU nurses pulled him into the baby room while they put me back together. I wasn't there for that, but I bet it was magical.

On a grandma’s point of view absolutely loved watching my daughter in law and my son become parents for the first time, I just stood back and watched them bond as a family and I just cried with love and joy 😍🥰

My youngest brothers name is Ben but we all call him Benny. This brought me right back to when I held him for the first time before he was put in the nicu that night- the memory is as clear as day. He’s all good and fine, but little me had to learn very fast how precious these moments are
