I looked for the lesson underneath their betrayal. It was, I think, an important reminder that no matter your age, someone who is not the one meant for you, but is nonetheless in your path, has the ability to steal a piece of your innocence; a theft which can never be recovered. And so, I am grateful for the lesson because not all lessons are meant to be pleasant but all of them are meant to spur growth. And boy oh boy, did I curate a strength and a resolve to survive that I never knew I was capable of. So, again, grateful for the lesson in ascension. And thank you for the uncomfortable read, for which I am also grateful. [Pray]

I was in a relationship with an avoidant. On my third discard right now. I’ve done the work, I’ve mirrored, I protect my boundaries. I just really really miss him. I miss his vulnerable sides, the ones he only showed me. I honestly don’t think I need to fix him. But it felt like he touched my soul.
