Bugaboo butterfly 2 plus!!!!! (After months of research) we clip in our Nuna car seat for travel and when you get there you have a car seat AND a “normal” stroller. When you get to the destination with the doona, you essentially only have a car seat for them to sit in. The butterfly they can lay down, sit up or everything in between. And you have the car seat you can click on if you’re going to be getting in and out of cars at all. You can just keep the adapters in your bag, the basket or clipped in!

Having a baseless car seat is key. We use the Nuna urbn and a minu v3. Also hearing great things about the mockingbird travel.

There are travel strollers that can fully recline so they are newborn accessible. I got the Nuna TRVL LX for this specific purpose! I’d be cautious about relying on a car seat attachment like you mentioned for the bugaboo bc my baby HATES the car seat so it makes it miserable to use for that purpose and you don’t wanna be stuck with that being your only option for travel!

Ive had about 10 different strollers over the years, my personal favorite was/is the graco modes jogger travel system. carseat clicked in. good size basket underneath. had a phone holder my phone could slide right into, not crazy expensive. when we traveled we brought it to the gate and they put it under the plane. if you plan on taking your stroller to the beach or on rocky terrain I would stay away from a 4 wheeled stroller.

I LOVED my vista for every day with 1 kid but HAAAATED it for 2 kids and ended up buying a different double stroller. I will also say I have and really really like the Uppababy travel stroller the Mini V3

I ordered both the bugaboo butterfly 2 plus and Joolz aer2 with car seat adapters and ended up keeping the Joolz aer2!! They are both similar but I picked the aer2 bc it’s 2 pounds lighter than the butterfly, but I will say the butterfly is SO GORGEOUS

Skip the Doona, if you want a high end travel stroller go butterfly or Joolz. The vista is controversial as a double so it’s good to not read too much into that, the bassinet is lovely. The Doona is a waste IMO since it’s outgrown and then you don’t have a stroller. Vista with Pipa or Clek, I have a video with the butterfly with the Clek. Also don’t gate check your car seat if you can avoid it

Interior Update :
I didnt get to do them because I live in the city and travel alot. We got the Nuna Pippa air RX and put it on a travel stroller to travel. The main reason I didn’t get the dude I was because I wanted the undercarriage storage for moving around.

Travel stroller Bugaboo Butterfly 2+ love it so much!!! It fits in the overhead compartment and it’s so light. We got it because we travel a lot and I’ve also been able to use it daily. Do not get Doona. It’s so heavy once baby is there and you can only use it for a short period of time. We have the Nuna Demi Next and alternate depending on what we are doing
