There will be people you really really like, but their lives may already be too full for you. I would love to make new friends, but my life is very full, and I actually want more time for myself. There's a woman I really came to love and I wanted to be friends with, but her life was very full and she lived in a completely different state. Personally, I was willing to shift things around in my schedule to make time for her here and there, and she wasn't willing to do the same thing. Which is sad, but okay. Because there are plenty of people who want to be friends with me and I can't find time for them either.

As a big extrovert with lot of friends. I have no issues being the one to text first or to send the first invite the new person, but that grace only lasts for first 3 tries. After that, they got to also start opening conversations and sending hangout invites or I will drop them and not feel bad about it.
