my mom had to get a hysterectomy in her early 30s not one dr gave her meds or explained anything to her, she went into early menopause and now she has osteoarthritis in her back, knees, hands and hips.

My question is why is it that when a women has a naturally occurring event happen all of a sudden all men need to get a vasectomy. I don’t get the logic. Does HRT need to be explored more for women, yes and at the same time we can do it without shaming men and stop saying what about men not caring for so long or medicine being centered around men. It doesn’t mean men need to suffer, it just means we need to shift to an equal amount of focus in medicine which is happening, I see a lot more doctors introducing the idea of HRT in women.
