Elvis didn’t die from a drug overdose. He had heart and other health problems that built up over time caused by long term prescription drug abuse (he was on 14 different meds at once) and an unhealthy diet. He had an obstructed colon directly related to his opioid use, and straining on the toilet put too much stress on his already overtaxed heart.
