I had a professor who wanted students in and out as quick as possible. If you weren't currently asking a specific question, he wanted you gone.

I had a math professor at psu that I took because he was "math famous"! I had him write me a letter of recommendation because I wanted his autograph and if someone really knew math and I had his letter of recommendation, I'd be golden!

My son always utilizes his professors office hours, and he starts at the beginning of each semester. He doesn’t always ask about class either. He knows all about where they were born, how long they’ve been teaching, and all kinds of other interesting things. 🥰
