@pomonasfavoriteson: The trail featuring the heart-shaped rock is called the Arch Rock Trail (often referred to as the Heart and Arch Rocks Loop). The heart itself is a freestanding, 10-foot-tall granite boulder known as Heart Rock. It sits on a well-marked spur trail just a short detour away from the main arch formation. 🥾 Trail Breakdown & Details • Distance: Combining both Arch Rock and the detour to Heart Rock makes for an easy 1.7-mile round-trip hike. • Trailhead & Parking: You will want to park at the Twin Tanks Parking Lot located along Pinto Basin Road. From there, you will cross the road to join the main trail. • Difficulty: It is a very flat, family-friendly trail with only about 100 feet of elevation gain. Because it snakes through a massive field of granite boulders, it is also a popular spot for rock scrambling.#JoshuaTreeNationalPark #ArchRockTrail #HeartandArchRockLoops
