Early on, he fell a month behind and went to her for the money. She asked him one thing. "Have you been reading your Bible?" A week later he came back and got the same question. Then another week, same question. When the eviction notice went up on his door, he showed it to her. "Talk to me when you read your Bible." So he went home and opened it. "Six rent checks fell out.
