SHE SAID YES! ❤️💍😭 This Debbie you see deserves a princess treatment. 👑❤️ Let me tell you about our 12 years journey. You know life brought us together in 2014 when I was still a small boy trying to find my feet in life. At that time, we became besties. So Debbie has been around through it all. Debbie came into the university of Benin when I just entered 400 level studying to become a doctor of Optometry, but during that time I had a fall- out with my Dad because of career choice, so I couldn’t go home. Life was hard, but I couldn’t call home for help because of my choices. Debbie somehow started bringing food and shared with me at our fellowship secretariat where I lived at that time. When it was time to leave the secretariat, I literally had nowhere to go and Debbie accommodated me in her hostel. At that age, and that small - in 100 level. She had that mind and care to do that. That’s when our friendship started to grow strong. Normally I’m a jack of all trades and knew so many skills but none of them were working out well. I could bake, make cardigans, make bags, paint, draw as handworks among many other talents. Most of my painting jobs were to paint student rooms around the university and Debbie would always go with me to do that.😳😭 There were times when she had concerns as to whether the next client would be her course mate, but she’d still follow me to the job😫😭 Many times when I see her painting with me, I’d feel so bad that I’m allowing my girl to paint houses😫. But Debbie would insist especially seeing that it’ll hasten the process. There was a time I got a job to paint a 4 bedroom house in another state and Debbie insisted we travel together and do the job alone without taking another painter to help so as to help increase the money we’d get from the job 😢 We travelled together to that state and did that work for about 3 days 😭😭… And this wasn’t even the hardest part of our life together 😭😭😭😭 This post alone cannot tell a story of 12 years. I think we’ll do a story time and let’s just call this PART 1. In the meantime, De Cristalz family, we have a wedding to plan. 🕺🕺🥰🙏
