The sad thing is, we always perceive ourselves with a harsher and different perspective than other people. "You're so pretty, stop saying that!" is something no one should ever say to ANYONE! Yes, I completely agree everyone's beautiful the way they are, but even pretty people can feel 'ugly' or insecure. We spend so much time looking at little details of ourselves that it starts messing with your head! Kind of like how you look at or repeat/type a word over and over again and it begins to look strange or unnatural. So please, don't dismiss someone's feelings about themselves just because they're pretty. Yes, mashallah, nuneh IS beautiful, and I wish she could see it in herself, and I hope she does, but the way she visually sees herself and feels about it is completely real.
